Primitive Pillows-its a great life and This to shall pass

I made these pillows for my Aunt Sheila. She means so much to me and is truly the greatest aunt/mother one would want to know. Her grandma, which was my great grandma, used to say these sayings all the time. They bring back memories and when we talk to each-other these phrases are often quoted. I couldn't resist to surprise her for mothers day with these great pillows she can place somewhere and always be reminded of simpler times. Primitive Crow appliqued Valances

Are you a lover of Crows-well if you are these will be right up your alley or on your window. I took these great applique designs from http://www.heartstringsembroidery.com/catalog and made this Valance for my sewing room. These along with all my primitives I am collecting are helping me to create the perfect primitive sewing machine room with decor and all. It really helps keep me creative. Military Sampler Pillows

Need we say more? I showed you the pillow top last week and now the finished product. This is going to a great gift idea- email me now and let's get sewing. Custom orders take between 1-2 weeks for completion, depending on how many orders I have-so keep this in mind when thinking about that special gift giving event.

Baby Burp Clothes-Terry Cloth

These are some custom made baby burp rags I made for a customer. She requested hunting themed colors and fabrics. No babies nursery would be complete without Grandma Says Burp Rag. These can all be customized with colors, fabrics and designs. I have a nice selection of Terry Cloth colors for both boys and girls. These are nicely priced at $9.00 for the burp rag and $8.00 for a bib. You will not find these at your local store-so plan ahead and let's get sewing.

Primitive Crows in the basket & Bird house Towels

Sheep Sampler Wall-Hanging

I took this sampler embroidery design from Heartstrings embroidery and added some adorable primitive sheep fabric for the borders. I used another homespun fabric on the back to complete this cute project. This product could be grubby stained for your primitive wares/decor.

Military familes are the Heart of America-Sampler

I just couldn't wait for the finished product. This is going to be a pillow. I am quilting the top with a layer of warm and natural batting and muslin. How neat would this be for your loved one to come home and see this sitting on your couch, loveseat or on a shelf. Check my website for more of these to come. Road to a friend house- Sampler Quilt Block

This is a sampler quilt block done with machine embroidery. Thanks to Heartstrings for a great digitized design. She has just started doing these and they are great for a wall-hanging, pillow or framed in wood.

Son-in-Law Design-Catch of the day

This is a great biker shirt with sleeveless frayed edges. My husband chose this design for our Son-in-law who described a fishing experience he had recently. We couldn't resist a little fun. Primitive Raggedy Ann Quilt- Days of the Week

This is a sneak preview of an unfinished Quilt top I am working on. I thought the country themed fabric was a great addition the the embroidered red blocks. Once again heartstrings embroidery has done a great job-now I must give some credit to the graphic artists too. Watch for my graphic links- coming soon.

Hand Towel with Crows in my basket design

What a great way to say " I love crows and everything primitive. This is another design from hearstrings embroidery primstitch club I belong to. I may have forgotten to tell you that crows are one of my favorite primitive decorations.

Business Logo Golf Towels

These are two different types of golf towels. Tri-fold is a very nice towel for the corporate style giveaways. The smaller blue & white fringed towels has a smaller business budget in mind. The designs were professionally digitized by heartstrings embroidery. She does a wonderful job for my customers.
